DEXTER – Two adults and four children escaped serious injury Friday when the vehicles they were riding in collided at the four-way intersection on Spring Street.
Kim Gross, 32, of Sangerville was traveling southbound on Spring Street and Faith Gudroe, 32, of Dexter was northbound preparing to turn left onto Main Street when their vehicles collided, according to Christine Pooler, a Dexter Police Department dispatcher.
Gross and her three young passengers and Gudroe and her young passenger were shaken up but were not taken by ambulance for medical treatment after the 7:45 a.m. accident, Pooler said. The drivers and their passengers all were restrained in car seats and seat belts, she said.
Damage to Gross’ 1990 Mazda was estimated at $3,000, while damage to Gudroe’s 1997 Ford was set at $2,000.
The accident was investigated by Police Chief Art Roy.
