Sherman residents will gather at 7:30 tonight at the town office to vote on a 57-article town warrant.

Among many issues, voters will decide whether to borrow funds for a new firetruck and they will also be asked to approve a five-year contract with the Patten Ambulance Service.

Residents will elect one selectmen for a three-year-term. Alonzo Guiggey and Jeffrey Long are both in the running for that slot.

No candidates have taken out papers to fill one open slot on the SAD 25 board. The seat will most likely be filled by a write-in candidate.

Voting will take place from noon to 6:30 p.m. at the town office.
