ORONO – The student chapter of the Society of American Foresters, in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Forest Service, is presenting, “The Greatest Good: A Forest Service Centennial Film,” beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at 100 Nutting Hall on the University of Maine campus. Admission is free.
A brief question and answer period will follow the documentary film, which examines the service’s struggle to manage the nation’s resources through a century of global change.
