ORONO – The University of Maine men’s ice hockey NCAA Tournament game against the Minnesota on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU, which an be seen on DirecTV channel 609.
The Adelphia cable system will broadcast the game on Channel 12 in the Bangor area and Channel 9 in the Augusta area. Time Warner cable systems will carry the game on Channel 23 in Aroostook Country and Channel 22 in Cumberland and York counties.
The Black Bears can also be heard on the radio on WZON (620 AM) in Bangor, WEGP (1390 AM) in Presque Isle-Caribou, and WLOB (1310 AM and 96.3 FM) in Portland. Dan Hannigan will call the action and Larry Mahoney of the Bangor Daily News will provide color commentary.
UMaine hockey fans also are invited to enjoy the game live during the official watch party at The Sports Arena in Hermon. The watch party will feature a live broadcast of the game from Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis, Minn.
