What’s for Supper?

“What’s for Supper?,” a listing of public suppers and other benefit meals, appears every Wednesday in the Style section. The listings are free and must be received 10 days before the Wednesday publication date. Listings must include: name of event, location, street address, town, contact telephone number, date, time, admission and sponsor. Mail items to: Suppers, Bangor Daily News, P.O. Box 1329, Bangor 04401. Listings may also be submitted by fax at 941-9476 or online at bdncalendar@bangordailynews.net. Listings are not taken over the telephone.

BANGOR – Community Art Lunch, 11:30 a.m. third Saturday every month, Grace United Methodist Church, 193 Union St. Free for all ages. 942-8320.

BANGOR – Ham dinner, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 27, Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 517 Hammond St. 945-5975 or 942-2517. Reservations due by March 25.

DIXMONT – Public benefit supper, 4:30-6:30 p.m. March 26, proceeds to support Regina Erskine’s coast-to-coast bicycle ride for Celiac, Dixmont Snowmobile Clubhouse. $5, $2.50 children.

EXETER – Annual baked bean supper, 5-7 p.m. April 2, Exeter Consolidated School, 1221 Stetson Road. $4, $2 children. 379-2291.

ORRINGTON – Baked bean supper, 4:30 p.m. April 2, East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Road. $6, $3 children.

ORRINGTON – Fisherman’s breakfast, 7-9 a.m. April 9, East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Road. $5.

ROCKLAND – “Fourth Friday Take-Out,” 4-6:30 p.m. March 25, Rockland Congregational Church, 180 Limerock St. $7. To reserve a meal, call 594-8656 by March 23.

WOODLAND – Chicken pot pie supper, 4:30 p.m. April 7, Methodist Church, Corner of Third Avenue and Summit Street, $7 adult/ $5 children. Meals to go available. 427-3923.

Correction: In the Style section Wednesday, a What’s for Supper? item should have specified that the ham dinner 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church is free, but by reservation. The church is at 517 Hammond St., Bangor. For reservations, call 945-5975 or 942-2517.
