DOVER-FOXCROFT – An event designed to strengthen and encourage men of all ages who desire to serve God will be held April 1-2 at Foxcroft Academy.
The 2005 Men to Men Conference, hosted this year by the Charleston Church of the Open Bible, will feature speakers, prayer and fellowship and instructions for living in an increasingly difficult time.
Among the speakers will be Steve Farrar, author of “Point Man: How a Man Can Lead His Family.”
With more than 400,000 copies in print, the book was the catalyst for Farrar’s leaving the pastorate after 15 years and focusing his ministry on equipping men for spiritual leadership.
Farrar is a frequent speaker for Promise Keepers conferences and other events throughout the nation.
John Hoag, chancellor of New Brunswick Bible Institute, also will speak on the need for the church to remain faithful in a difficult time, and how men can make a real difference.
