PRESQUE ISLE – The Aroostook County Action Program’s Head Start program is registering children for the 2005-2006 school year. All ACAP Child and Family Centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4-15. To find out your nearest location, call (800) 432-7881.

Children must be 4 years old by Oct. 15, and some children who are 3 by Oct. 15 also will be accepted. The program is provided primarily for low-income families, and also is available to children with developmental disabilities.
