PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – The University of Southern Maine Huskies of Gorham wrapped up a 10-game Florida baseball swing with two wins (5-3 and 4-2) over Gustavus Adolphus College Monday.

In the first game, Brandon Brewer erased a 3-0 Golden Gusties’ lead with a three-run homer with Max Arsenault driving in the eventual game-winner in the sixth.

Wade Vrieze hit a two-run double for Gustavus Adolphus.

In the second game, Brewer got the Huskies rolling with an RBI single in the first and Joe Ganley added one of his own in the fifth.

Arsenault and Andrew Portwine added RBI singles in the sixth to seal the win for Southern Maine.

The losses dropped Gustavus Adolphus to 6-8 on the season.
