About 45 residents attending the annual town meeting Monday supported the recommendations of town officials by approving the 2005 warrant as proposed.
Approval was given to raise and appropriate $60,000 for special summer road projects, $140,000 for winter roads and $30,000 for summer roads, according to Town Manager Tressa Gudroe.
Residents also granted town officials the authority to borrow or appropriate $10,000 from surplus to meet any unanticipated expenses or emergencies during the year.
Other appropriations approved include $85,570 for general government; $18,000 for public safety; and $15,939 for insurance.
Taxes will be due Nov. 30 as directed by residents, who also set the interest rate on unpaid taxes at 7.75 percent
Elected to office were Gary Perkins as SAD 46 director and James Crane as selectman.
