UMS board approves tenure track for 43

ORONO – The University of Maine System’s board of trustees has approved tenure recommendations for 43 faculty members. The approvals included 18 faculty from the University of Maine:

. Seanna Annis, promotion to associate professor of mycology, College of Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture.

. Emmanuel Boss, promotion to associate professor of oceanography, College of NSFA.

. Timothy Dalton, promotion to associate professor of resource economics and policy, College of NSFA.

. Raphael DiLuzio, promotion to associate professor of new media, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

. Marcia Douglas, promotion to associate professor of theatre, College of LAS.

. Steven Evans, promotion to associate professor of English, College of LAS.

. Benjamin Friedlander, promotion to associate professor of English, College of LAS.

. Todd Gabe, promotion to associate professor of resource economics and policy, College of NSFA.

Eric Gallandt, promotion to associate professor of weed ecology and management, College of NSFA.

Jennifer Gosetti, promotion to associate professor of philosophy, College of LAS.

Peter Koons, promotion to associate professor of geological sciences, College of NSFA.

David Kotecki, promotion to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, College of Engineering.

Charles Maguire III, promotion to associate professor of mechanical engineering technology, College of Engineering.

Craig Mason, tenure at current rank of associate professor of education and applied quantitative methods, College of Education and Human Development.

Andrea Mauery, promotion to associate professor of art, College of LAS.

Jane Smith, promotion to associate professor of French, College of LAS.

Janet Spector, promotion to associate professor of education, College of EHD.

Philip Trostel, promotion to professor of economics and public policy, College of LAS.
