Easton
Residents approved a municipal budget Monday that increased by less than 1 percent and voted in three candidates for seats on the school board and the Board of Selectmen, according to Easton Town Clerk Cheryl Clark.
Voters accepted a $622,198 municipal budget during their Monday night annual town meeting, Clark said Thursday.
During elections held earlier in the day, residents re-elected David Steele to a three-year spot on the Board of Selectmen and elected Scott Allen to the second three-year term on the board.
The men ran against Lewis Copeland and David Littlefield for the seats. Incumbent Bruce Flewelling did not seek another term on the board.
Residents also re-elected Tom Osgood to a three-year term to the local school board. Osgood ran unopposed for the seat.
