SINCLAIR – A trooper with the Maine State Police discovered the body of a man, who may have been dead as long a month, in his home Saturday.

Trooper Daniel Marquis said Frank O’Reilly, 73, of 18 Sinclair Road was found Saturday afternoon. It was unknown how long ago the man died.

Marquis said O’Reilly, originally from Lawrence, Mass., lived alone in a small home on the shore of Long Lake.

Marquis said he investigated the incident when a neighbor, Joel Hebert, reported that he had not seen O’Reilly for a long time.

“There is nothing suspicious at this time,” Marquis said Monday afternoon. “He may have been dead as long as a month, maybe less.”
