Where do you live?

Pete: In a small, three-bedroom house in Penobscot.

What do you do for work?

What do you like about living in Maine?

Pete: Three things make Maine special: the rural character, the kindness of the people and the community spirit.

Where do you go when you leave Maine?

Pete: We try not to leave Maine. When we do, it’s: How much further ’til we get to Maine?

What do you like about school?

Lakota: I’ve never had a teacher I don’t like.

What do you do for fun?

Pete: Hiking, biking, sledding.

Lakota: The library.

Where do you shop?

Jennifer: I’m a creative shopper. I shop mostly secondhand.

What’s your favorite color?

Summit: I like blue, pink and light purple.
