Where do you live?
Pete: In a small, three-bedroom house in Penobscot.
What do you do for work?
Jennifer: I do massage therapy, and I’m an artist. I do intuitive artwork and intuitive body work. I’m starting to explore with painting what I see in body work.
Pete: I build hiking trails for the National Park Service.
What’s the last fun thing you did as a family?
Lakota: Going out to the “Aunt Mae Cabaret” in Blue Hill.
Do you watch TV?
Summit: Yes, but that’s not the funnest thing I do. Having a play date with Dada is the funnest.
What do you like about living in Maine?
Pete: Three things make Maine special: the rural character, the kindness of the people and the community spirit.
Where do you go when you leave Maine?
Pete: We try not to leave Maine. When we do, it’s: How much further ’til we get to Maine?
What do you like about school?
Lakota: I’ve never had a teacher I don’t like.
What do you do for fun?
Pete: Hiking, biking, sledding.
Lakota: The library.
Where do you shop?
Jennifer: I’m a creative shopper. I shop mostly secondhand.
What’s your favorite color?
Summit: I like blue, pink and light purple.
