Outlook: The Black Bears, who had Tuesday’s game against Thomas snowed out, face a Brown program against which they have struggled mightily. Smith and Ferriggi have swung hot bats lately for UMaine. The Black Bears, who lack starting depth, are likely to utilize several pitchers to deal with a Brown team which has hit 22 home runs and averages 6.2 runs per game. Brown has won six straight and is 4-0 at home this year.
