Tip Fairchild

University of Southern Maine junior pitcher Tip Fairchild was named the Little East Conference Pitcher of the Week. Fairchild appeared in three games earning a win and a save. He had a complete game where he allowed four hits, no walks, and struck out 10.

Mike Bunker

University of Southern Maine junior Mike Bunker was honored as the Little East Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. Bunker finished first in the steeplechase at the Springfield Triangular meet with a time of 9:47.33.

Sara Marzouk

Junior Sara Marzouk of the University of Southern Maine was named the Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. Marzouk broke a seven-year old school record in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:51.92 and placed third overall and first among Division III competitors at the Bryan Invitational.
