BANGOR – The Bangor Auditorium and Civic Center will, once again, serve as host for the 35th annual Bangor Home Show. The event will be held 5-9 p.m. Thursday, April 14; 1-9 p.m. Friday, April 15; 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, April 16, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, April 17. General admission is $6. Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult.

The event promises to be bigger than ever and vendor booths are sold out, with record attendance expected.

With more than 300 booths and free parking, the Bangor Home Show is the largest event of its kind in the state, said Dean Appleman of All Seasons Promotions Inc.

“This home show is for everyone from the first time homebuyer to homeowners looking to remodel or simply enhance their present living environment,” Appleman said.

The Home Show will feature companies specializing in products and services for the home and oriented toward the spring season. It will include building contractors, building materials, bathrooms, kitchens, home entertainment, tiles, interior decorations, furniture, landscaping home improvement, log homes, financial planning, flooring, windows and doors, home technology, pools, security systems, hot tubs, lighting, vacuum systems, and water companies. Manufacturers, installers and salesmen will be available for those interested in project advice.

While strolling the aisles the public will be able to take in a free cooking show demonstration and register to win door prizes, with no purchase necessary.

The one-stop shopping concept is all under one roof, and there are many products and services for the home available.

Some of this year’s exhibitors include Allenfarm Fence Co., Avondale Kitchen and Bath, Bangor Home Recreation Center, Expert Flooring, Atlantic Designs, Anderson Windows, Gagne Precast, Greenway Equipment Sales, Dependable Door Service, Habitat Post and Beam, Hammond Lumber, Maine Window and Sunroom, Maine Energy, Key Bank, Pella Windows and Doors, Real Log Homes and Sandollar Spa and Pool.
