EAST MACHIAS – Jason Ramsdell pitched a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead the Washington Academy Raiders to an 11-0 schoolboy baseball win over the Calais Blue Devils in the mutual opener Friday.

Ramsdell’s brother, Jeff Ramsdell, hit a grand slam to propel the Raiders offense. Yung Soo Kim and Dan Seamans each doubled for the winners.

Darcy Gillespie had two singles and an RBI while Danielle O’Brien added a triple.
