Ben Rowe wins PASS opener

NO. WOODSTOCK, N.H. – Turner’s Ben Rowe, who won the 2002 and 2003 Pro All-Stars Series points championship and finished second to Hallowell’s Johnny Clark last year, opened the PASS season by holding off Scott Mulkern to win the Cabin Fever 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park Sunday.

Rowe, who overcame the flu, nipped Mulkern by less than a car-length.

Farmington’s Cassius Clark was third, Johnny Clark was fourth and Mike Rowe, Ben’s dad, wound up fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 in the 26-car field were Hollis’ Richie Dearborn, Strong’s Tracy Gordon, Patrick Laperle of St. Denis, Quebec, Morrill’s Travis Benjamin and Gege Gravel of Groton, Mass.
