ORONO – Maine citizen-soldiers and their families will appear at a University of Maine baseball doubleheader next month as a part of the school’s contribution to Operation Community Support. Admission is free for any person with a military identification and their spouses and children at a May 14 doubleheader against Northeastern. The first game starts at noon. Boston Red Sox mascot Wally is also scheduled to appear that day.

In case of bad weather, the promotion will be moved to May 21 when Maine plays Binghamton, also starting at noon.
