UNION – A talk on Harriet Stanwood Blaine, wife of James G. Blaine, the Maine political leader who served as secretary of state and was a presidential candidate in the 19th century, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the Old Town House on Town House Road.

Julia Hunter of the Maine State Museum will give the talk on the “almost first lady.”
