A patron at Bangor’s Club Gemini became aggressive and was removed from the premises on Saturday night, according to Bangor police Detective Erik Tall.

Tall arrived at the scene to find several officers, including Sgt. Larry Weber, assisting the club’s doorman in ejecting Colley Croteau, 24, of Waterville from the establishment. The doorman repeatedly had asked Croteau to leave and physically restrained him until police arrived.

The doorman released Croteau, who then threw a punch at the doorman’s head and missed. Tall and Weber grabbed Croteau and placed him under arrest. Croteau threatened to sue everyone present at the scene and verbally assaulted the officers until he was taken to Penobscot County Jail.

An unidentified female said Croteau had damaged her car before police arrived.
