Left-handed pitcher Jon Lester was promoted from Single A Lowell to Double A Portland by the Boston Red Sox Tuesday, and got the start Tuesday night for the Sea Dogs. Also Tuesday, outfielder Chris Durbin came off the disabled list a day after the Red Sox released first baseman Mike O’Keefe and right-handed pitcher Talley Haines.
