Outlook: Despite all the recent rain, the Eagles don’t expect any problems playing on their artificial FieldTurf. Division III Husson plays host to Division I Maine in the hope of honing its skills for next week’s Sunrise Conference tournament. Maine is gearing up for an important America East weekend home series against Vermont. Husson has been an outstanding defensive team, with former Black Bear Harvey among its mainstays. The Eagles want to get their pitchers work against some good hitters and Maine hopes to get some lesser-used pitchers more work.
