BLUE HILL – Pat Dedman singled to drive in the winning run in the seventh inning as the Bucksport Golden Bucks edged George Stevens Academy 9-8 in high school baseball action Friday.
Joe Robicheau doubled and singled twice for one RBI. Chris McGuire singled twice for another RBI. Matt Jackson and Teddy Cooke each had a single and a double, while Jackson had an RBI for Bucksport.
Phineas Peake and Ross Gallagher had three singles and two RBIs apiece for the Eagles.

At Harrington, two Corys – Worcester and Burt – held the Royals to three hits to give the Knights their first victory.
Cory Worcester went the first three innings, struck out eight, and didn’t walk a batter while Cory Burt finished the next four with six strikeouts and four walks.
Todd Pagels drove in all three runs for the winners with a two-run home run and RBI double.
Thomas Holmes tripled and singled for the Royals.

At Bar Harbor, Nia Megquier scattered five hits, struck out two, and walked none to lead the Trojans past the Hawks.
Lauren Smith doubled home Sarah Ingalls in the second inning for the only run Megquier needed, and Asia Ross singled in Lynne Bowden, who had doubled, with an insurance run in the sixth.
Smith finished with a double, a single, and the one RBI.
Shannon Wiggin rapped three singles for Hermon. Ashley Kelley struck out 10 and walked three.

Rachel Church singled three times, and Sarah Beal and Rachelle Parker each singled twice. Whitney Beal added a double for Jonesport-Beals.
