MACHIAS – More than 30 members of the Machias-area Community Chorale will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at the Performing Arts Center at the University of Maine at Machias.

The group will perform Robert Burns ballads with Tia Fickett on clarinet, followed by Gabriel Faur?’s “Requiem.”

Gene Nichols of the UMM music department will conduct the chorale, with accompanists Lynn Brubaker, violin; Molly Nichols, harp; and Jane Hinson, piano. Soloists will be Rick Tanney, bass, and Rosalie Woodward, soprano. The concert is free, with donations accepted.
