BLUE HILL – Dan Hilts allowed seven hits and two walks while notching 11 strikeouts in seven innings, but Collin Henry got the win in relief thanks to Ross Gallagher’s RBI single in the eighth that gave George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill a 4-3 baseball victory over Washington Academy Monday.

Henry led off the bottom of the eighth with a single, stole second, and went to third on a throwing error. He scored on Gallagher’s single over the drawn-in infield.

Josh Astbury had a single and two RBIs while Jeremy Dunham had an RBI single for George Stevens Academy.

For Washington Academy of East Machias, Jeff Ramsdell had two singles and an RBI, Nick Wood had an RBI double and James Ramsdell added an RBI single.

At East Sullivan, Matt Nickerson tossed a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and one walk to key the Searsport win.

Sean Johnson doubled and singled and scored a run for Searsport. John Nickerson had an RBI single and Matt Nickerson doubled and scored a run.

A.J. Pennartz doubled for Sumner.

At Deer Isle, Nick Ciomei tripled, doubled, and singled and had three RBIS to help lead Deer Isle-Stonington to victory.

Thomas Robbins hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning for DI-Stonington and Josh Eaton singled and had three RBIs.

Will Hinkley had three singles for Bangor Christian and Tory Dearborn hit a two-run single.

At Jonesport, Alan Austin singled twice and drove in a run to help lead Machias to the win.

Mike Little hit an RBI single for the Bulldogs and Thomas Buck struck out nine.

Timmy Holmes had two singles and an RBI for Jonesport-Beals and Joseph Libby singled with an RBI. Ryan Geel had eight strikeouts.

At East Sullivan, triples by April MacLean, Kate Rock and Kayla Higgins highlighted a four-run third inning that built an 8-2 lead and helped Sumner withstand a four-run Searsport rally in the fourth.

MacLean and Higgins had singles to go with their triples and Jody Pinkham also tripled and singled. MacLean had two RBIs.

Nichole Leach had two singles and two RBIs and winning pitcher Whitney Page had a pair of base hits.

Aimee Neilson had four singles for Searsport.

Christy Moon hit a two-run home run and two singles and drove in three runs for George Stevens and Robin Rioux had two singles and two RBIs.

Lauren Finn hit a grand slam in the second inning for Washington Academy of East Machias and Ashley Tilton had two singles with two RBIs.

At Jonesport, Jennie Durkee drove in five runs with a triple and three singles to pilot Jonesport-Beals to victory.

Kristi Smith had two doubles and a single with two RBIs for the Royalettes and Rachelle Parker had three singles and an RBI.

Stephanie Whitman had a double and two singles with three RBIs for Machias. Hannah Beal and Monique St. Pierre each doubled.

Jenny Rollins doubled and singled with three RBIs for Central. Chantel Randall had a double and a single to knock in a run and Traci Underhill doubled and singled. Alyssa Libby had eight strikeouts.

Julie Lockhart hit a two-run double for Dexter and Katie Poirier doubled and singled with an RBI. Sabrina Cote hit an RBI double. Michelle Chapman struck out seven.

At Lee, Shelby Pickering knocked in six runs with two home runs, a double and a single as the Pandas cruised.

Pickering hit a three-run homer in the first inning and a two-run shot in the fourth to back Brooke Harris, who pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and a walk.

Karin Bird hit a triple and three singles with three RBIs and Jackie Moors posted a double and two singles (2 RBIs) for Lee Academy. Liz Read provided a double, a single and three RBIs, Amanda Gifford singled twice (2 RBIs) and Aarika Ritchie added two singles.

Tracey Dewey doubled for Piscataquis Community of Guilford.
