FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent is celebrating the Franco-American culture of the St. John Valley through a French immersion program June 25 through July 1.

High school students with a minimum of two years of French can enter the program.

The schedule involves French instruction, field trips or group projects in the afternoon and nightly activities. The program includes an overnight trip to Quebec City. Cost for the program is $600, which includes lodging and meals. For more information, call the registrar’s office at 834-7520.
