WALDOBORO – A Friday morning bomb threat is still under investigation at Medomak Valley High School. A note in the boys bathroom that read “Bomb at 10” prompted school officials to evacuate the building, according to Chief Leroy Jones of the Waldoboro Police Department.

WALDOBORO – A Friday morning bomb threat is still under investigation at Medomak Valley High School.

A note in the boys bathroom that read “Bomb at 10” prompted school officials to evacuate the building, according to Chief Leroy Jones of the Waldoboro Police Department.

Arriving at the scene were Dick Lahey, the school’s resource officer, as well as State Police officers accompanied by two dogs.

The students were bussed to a local Baptist church just after 10 a.m. and remained there until 2 p.m.
