In order to boost efficiencies and reach more people, Maine’s Roman Catholic Diocese’s Office of Ministry to Persons with Disabilities will move from the Chancery in Portland to the Catholic Charities Maine facility in Augusta. The change is designed to make the office more centrally located and will strengthen the program’s outreach by tapping into Catholic Charities contacts in parishes throughout the diocese. The Bishop’s Appeal will continue to fund the office.
