Separate but equal?

It will allow for discrimination of both sexes. Sen. Debra Plowman’s rationale for passing this bill is that she was touched inappropriately at a gym.

That is unfortunate, and people who assault other people should be prosecuted. People can be assaulted in all sorts of places; on buses, for example, people are very vulnerable.

Should we have separate buses for men and women? Or should we just have one sex sit in the back? Maybe Plowman can tell us which sex should sit in the back of the bus, or in this case who gets to have the gym with the inferior facilities?

Perhaps if this law does pass they could put a provision into the bill, mandating separate but equal gym facilities.
