LIMESTONE – Senior lefthander Jason Thompson allowed only one hit and three walks in five innings and struck out 12 to lead the Washburn Beavers to a 13-1 high school baseball victory over the Limestone Eagles Monday.
Steven Pesut doubled, singled and drove in a run for the winners and Ben Goupille had two singles and an RBI.
Andrew Kirchner reached Thompson for an RBI single in the fourth inning for Limestone.

At Limestone, Amber Palmer and Casey Maynard both hit two-run singles in the fifth inning to lead Washburn to victory.
Kelsee McLaughlin, Erica McDougall, and Jamie Abar each hit RBI singles for Washburn.
Melanie Allen hit a three-run home run and doubled and singled to drive in four runs for Limestone. Kylie Mulherin had two singles and two RBIs.
