HAMPDEN – Amy Hackett hit a two-run home run in the second inning to help the Bangor High softball team to a 4-2 victory over Hampden Wednesday in high school action.

Courtney Stevenson added an RBI triple in the second for the Rams and Erin Porter hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run.

Amy Wadleigh allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six.

Michelle Wells singled twice and scored a run for the Broncos and Amanda Palmer hit an RBI single.
