The National High School Coaches Association has selected Skowhegan senior Katy LePage as its national field hockey player of the year and Indians coach Paula Doughty as its national high school coach of the year.

LePage scored a school-record 32 goals and added 14 assists to lead the Indians to a fourth straight state title. She finished with 59 goals and 29 assists in her career and will play for the University of Maine in the fall.
