Penquis Valley High School, Milo

MILO – John Robinson, principal of Penquis Valley High School, has announced the honor parts of the Class of 2005. Graduation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, in the Penquis Valley High School gymnasium.

Erin Marie Beasley, daughter of Eileen and Daniel Beasley of LaGrange, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2005. She will attend Colby College.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, chosen All-State in girls soccer and a District V music honors festival participant playing the flute.

Elyse Kahl, daughter of Kathryn and Werner Kahl of LaGrange, has been named the salutatorian for the Class of 2005. She will attend the University of Maine.

She is a member of the National Honor Society, has been a four-year member of the PEP band and is an initial participant in the mentor program at Penquis.

Elizabeth Comeau, daughter of Angela and Michael Comeau of Atkinson, has been named first honor essayist and will attend Colby College in the fall. She is a member of the National Honor Society, president of the student council and a four-year varsity letter winner.

Jessica LaMunyon, daughter of Laurie and Michael LaMunyon of LaGrange, has been named the second honor essayist and will attend the University of Maine. She is a member of the National Honor Society, an initial participant in the mentor program at Penquis and a four-year member of the PEP band.
