ORONO – University of Maine baseball senior Aaron Izaryk has been named a Second Team Academic All-American. He earned ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors and was placed on the national ballot. He became the first Maine baseball player to receive Academic All-American honors.

Izaryk, a catcher, is batting .327 with 34 runs scored and 27 RBIs. He has a .984 fielding percentage and ranks third on the team with 15 doubles.
