Old Town High School

Old Town High School has announced the honor parts and speakers for the Class of 2005. Graduation will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in MacKenzie Gymnasium at Old Town High school.

David Chilelli, son of MaryEllen and James Wickett of Milford and Christopher Chilelli of Texas, has been named valedictorian. He will attend the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, to study sports management.

He received the Maine Principal Association Award, received an academic letter, and has been selected to Who’s Who Among American High School Students. He received a good citizenship award, student of the month award, most promising scholar award and the Bausch and Lomb Science award.

Chilelli was a member of the varsity soccer, baseball, swim and freshman basketball teams. He has been on the math team and junior engineering technical society team. He was a member of the marching band, pep band, concert band, wind ensemble, jazz band and jazz combo. He received outstanding trombone soloist award freshman year, and junior and senior years, the jazz ensemble won the state competition. He was selected for National Honor Society junior year. He is a lector at his church and involved with high school youth ministry.

Amanda Lonko, daughter of Paul and Margo Lonko of Milford, has been named salutatorian. She will attend Husson College to study accounting.

She was a member of the basketball team and marching band. She received the good citizenship award, digital media award, student of the month award and was selected to Who’s Who Among American High School Students. She was a member of the key club, and received an academic letter.

Lonko volunteers at Old Town Elementary after-school program.

Travis St. Louis, son of David and Terri St. Louis of Old Town, is an essay speaker. He will attend Northeastern University to study civil engineering.

He has been class president and on the student council all four years of high school. He was a member of the basketball team, a member of the wind ensemble, jazz ensemble and marching band. He attended Boys State, the Student-Athlete Summit and is a Hoby Alumni. He received the citizenship award and I dare you award.

St. Louis is a member of the National Honor Society and on the junior engineering technical society team. He has received an academic letter.

Amy McFalls, daughter of Robin Cacace of Old Town and Kendall McFalls of Edinburg is an essay speaker. She will attend the University of Maine to study journalism.
