Narraguagus High School announces honor parts

HARRINGTON – Principal Peter Doak has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2005 at Narraguagus High School. Graduation exercises will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the Charles F. Lawrence gymnasium.

Brianna Belanger, daughter of Clyde and Sharon Belanger of Milbridge, has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2005. She will attend Bates College.

She is vice president of the senior class, a member of National Honor Society, math league, French club, outdoor club and varsity club. She has the Society of Women Engineers award, Golden Apple award and numerous individual class awards. She was a member of track and field, basketball, volleyball and cheering at Narraguagus.

Dustin Foss, daughter of Robert and Colleen Foss of Columbia Falls, has been named salutatorian for the Class of 2005. She will attend Gordon College in Massachusetts to study psychology.

She is secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of student government, French club, varsity club and drama club. She has been the assistant stage manager and stage manager for four plays and an actress in two. She was a member of volleyball, basketball, softball, indoor track and field, and cross country teams.
