SEARSPORT – Selectmen have interviewed four candidates for the town manager post.

They will meet Tuesday to discuss the candidates.

Sandra Blake resigned at the end of April. Police Chief James Gillway has been serving as interim manager. The town received 17 applications.

Selectmen hadn’t said whether they would choose a new manager Tuesday or review the interviews and possibly schedule second interviews, according to Gillway. Gillway wouldn’t say whether he is seeking the job on a permanent basis.
