BANGOR – Beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, at the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building, peace organizations around the state will read the names of American service people and Iraqi civilians who have died in Iraq.
A statement and the names will be read in the office of U.S. Sen. Susan Collins as well as in front of the Federal Building.
The entire reading will
take more than five hours,
and public participation is invited.
