ELLSWORTH – A Southwest Harbor man is serving 14 days at Hancock County Jail after pleading guilty to a charge of trafficking heroin.

Ian J. Jellison, 24, began his sentence June 12. Superior Court records show Justice Andrew M. Mead dismissed two additional charges of trafficking heroin.

Jellison was one of eight people indicted in February by a Hancock County grand jury after an investigation by state drug enforcement agents into heroin distribution in the area.
