PRESQUE ISLE – Hunter Caron walked in the bottom of the eighth, stole second base, advanced to third on a pass ball, and scored on a wild pitch to give the Presque Isle Patriots a 7-6 American Legion baseball victory over the Lincoln Lumber Thursday night.
Danny Michaud hit an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game for the Patriots. Tim Lyford hit three singles and drove in three runs, and Chad Lavway also had three singles. Spencer King had two singles and scored three runs.
Everett Houghton hit a grand slam in fifth inning for Lincoln and also had a single, and Gerry Worster added a solo home run. Tyler Thompson doubled and singled, and Jason Murchison and Jordan Burleigh each had two singles.

At Hampden, Nye Gifford hit a solo home run in the fourth inning and a two-run single in the fifth to lead the Falcons to the win.
Ben Davis doubled and scored in the fifth inning for Brewer and Chris Maguire singled and scored.
Brett Danforth hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for Hampden and Billy Shannon doubled.

At Blue Hill, Collin Henry allowed just one unearned run on five hits and no walks while striking out 11 to lead Trenton to victory.
Henry hit a solo home run in the third inning and two singles to drive in four runs for the Acadians. Blake Wessell had a double and three singles and scored two runs and Phineas Peake tripled, doubled, and singled with two RBIs. Harrison Hines hit an RBI double and a single and Evan Alexander added two singles.
Jason Murchison doubled and singled with an RBI for Lincoln and Tyler Thompson doubled and singled and scored a run.
