HAMPDEN – Nye Gifford hit a solo home run in the fourth inning and a two-run single in the fifth to lead the Brewer Falcons to a 5-2 American Legion baseball victory over the Hampden Riverdogs Friday.

Ben Davis doubled and scored in the fifth inning for Brewer and Chris Maguire singled and scored.

Brett Danforth hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for Hampden and Billy Shannon doubled.

At Blue Hill, Collin Henry allowed just one unearned run on five hits and no walks while striking out 11 to lead Trenton to victory.

Henry hit a solo home run in the third inning and two singles to drive in four runs for the Acadians. Blake Wessell had a double and three singles and scored two runs and Phineas Peake tripled, doubled, and singled with two RBIs. Harrison Hines hit an RBI double and a single and Evan Alexander added two singles.

Jason Murchison doubled and singled with an RBI for Lincoln and Tyler Thompson doubled and singled and scored a run.
