MILLINOCKET – Frankie Chagnon scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the top of the fifth inning to lead Hermon past Millinocket 6-5 in District 3 Little League baseball all-star action for ages 11-12 Friday.

Tyler Fournier singled twice for Hermon and Matt Blackmer added an RBI single.

Brian Bouchard had two singles and two RBIs for Millinocket. Aaron Cyr hit a two-run single in the second inning and Dylan Bouchard doubled.

At Taylor Field in Bangor, Tyler Desjardins hit a solo home run, three doubles, and a single to drive in four runs and help lead Bangor East by Glenburn.

Seth Freudenberger hit a two-run home run and two singles to knock in four runs for Bangor East, and John Szewczyk doubled and tripled with five RBIs. Luke Hettermann had three singles and three RBIs and struck out 11. Gerry Kimsey had three singles and a triple and brother Collin Kimsey tripled and singled. Ellis Throckmorton added two singles.

Zach Campbell led Glenburn with three singles and two RBIs. Nick Sherwood had two singles with an RBI and Thomas Loen tripled.

At Hampden, Jacques Larochelle allowed only three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out nine as Bangor West prevailed.

Joe Stanivicz hit an RBI double for Bangor West, and Dylan Morris added and RBI single. Larochelle and Brian Burns each doubled.

Dakota Duplissie doubled and singled for Hampden and Charlie Rawcliffe singled twice with an RBI.
