BREWER – Ben Davis combined for five RBIs on four singles and a triple as Brewer’s American Legion baseball team earned its 14th and 15th wins of the season Sunday with an 11-3 victory in the first game and a 12-3 win in the second in a sweep of Calais.
In the first game, Andy Otis and Jeff Miller each added a two-run single for Brewer and Shawn Gray singled twice and recorded an RBI.
Aaron Sullivan hit a two-run single and Steve Colbeth had an RBI double for Calais.
In the second game, Joe Robicheau smacked a three-run double for the Falcons. Prentiss Swett tallied an RBI double and a single, while Pat Moran doubled.
Jeff Ramsdell paced Calais with two doubles and an RBI.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Alex Means hit an RBI triple and an RBI single to help Bangor to victory Sunday.
Jason Eremita doubled twice for Bangor and Kyle Gallant added four singles.
Mike McCarthy hit an RBI single for Penquis and Dave Pullen doubled.

Orono, Presque Isle split
At Old Town, Brian Roach hit a solo homer and an RBI single and pitched five solid innings to lift Orono by Presque Isle 4-1 in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday.
Presque Isle won the second game 8-5.
Cory Estes chipped in with two singles for Orono in the first game. Roger Brewer had an RBI double for Presque Isle.
In the second game, Chad Lavway, Tim Lyford and Eric Martinez each singled twice to lead Presque Isle. Lavway also drove in a run.
Dusty Thomas hit a two-run home run and singled for Orono. Roach added two singles.

At Belfast, John Wentworth hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to give Waldo the 3-1 lead and help them to the 4-1 win in the first game over Lincoln on Sunday. The Lumber took the second game 11-2.
In the first game, Matt Nickerson hit two singles for Waldo.
Tyler Thompson singled twice and scored a run for Lincoln and Josh Seeley hit an RBI double.
In the second game, Jason Murchinson singled twice for Lincoln and Blaine Clark had an RBI single and scored twice. Gerry Worster and Everett Houghton both doubled.
Nickerson doubled for Waldo and Jake Arthers hit an RBI single.

Montville sweeps Searsport
At Searsport, Rory O’Donnell allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out 13 to earn the 10-0 shutout win for Montville over Searsport in the second game on Sunday. Montville also won the first game 1-0.
In the first game, Gerald Hews hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning to drive in Pasco Grove for Montville. Ben Relyea singled twice and George Tripp doubled.
Grove allowed no runs, three hits, and two walks while striking out 12.
Matt Cox doubled for Searsport.
In the second game, Tripp had three singles and a double with three RBIs for Montville. Nate Hall hit a single, double, and a solo home run and Grove singled twice.
Travis Estes broke up the no-hitter with a single in the fifth inning for Searsport.

Brad Wheaton doubled and singled for Quirk Auto Park and Billy Kane doubled.
In the second game, Josh Emerson hit two singles and a triple for Quirk Auto Park. Brian Worster had a double and two singles and scored twice and Aaron Largay doubled and singled with two RBIs.
Anthony Shaw hit three singles and scored a run for Movingme.com and Ryan Lynch added an RBI single.
