BAR HARBOR – Cameron Lawson hit a two-out RBI double in the top of the sixth inning to drive home the eventual game-winner as the Coastal 11-12 Little League All-Star team knocked off the Acadians 3-2 in District 1 action Monday.

Charlie Pal and Josh Gale each singled for Coastal. Pal had allowed just two runs on four hits and five walks while striking out 10.

Dennis O’Neill hit an RBI single for Acadians and Josh Emerson doubled. Duncan Smith and Caleb McDonald both singled. Chase Bickford and O’Neill combined to allow three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out 10.

At Northeast Harbor, Steve Zirnkilton hit a two-out two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game and scored the winning run on a Taylor Stewart RBI single to give the Acadians the win.

Zirnkilton had two singles and two RBIs for Acadians. Cal Tweedie allowed just two runs on two hits and four walks while striking out 13.

Tyler Salsbury hit an RBI triple for Ellsworth and Pat Kelley allowed three runs on four hits and three walks with 13 strikeouts.

At Hampden, Josh Shaw hit a double and drove in two runs to push Lincoln to victory.

Trystan Pelkey doubled to knock in a run for Lincoln and Wyatt Tash tripled.

Tyson Girsa doubled and singled with an RBI for Millinocket and Seth Brown had a double with two RBIs. Jordan Morrow struck out 10.

At Hampden, Tyler Laplante doubled and singled and had 11 strikeouts to help lead Bangor West to victory.

Galen Perry singled twice to drive in a run for Bangor West and Bobby Winchell had a single with two RBIs.

Josh Theriault and Shawn Curran both singled for Holbrook.

At Hampden, Ben Bragg allowed just one run on one hit while striking out eight to lead Glenburn past Katahdin Valley.

Cody Caruso had two signles and two RBIs for Glenburn. Jake Clark tripled to drive in a run and Cody Lyons had a single and an RBI.

Dylan Porter doubled in the fourth inning for Katahdin to break up the no-hitter.

At Hampden, William Perkins hit two doubles and a single while driving in four runs to push Hermon past Hampden-Newburgh.

Tyler Thayer doubled and singled with four RBIs for Hermon and Devon Lovett had two singles and two RBIs.

Cooper Antone doubled to knock in two runs for Hampden-Newburgh. Riley Francis doubled and singled and Matt Closson added two singles.

At Bangor West, Jacques LaRochelle struck out 11 in a complete-game effort for Bangor West in the win.

LaRochelle helped his own cause with three singles and two RBIs for the winners. Joe Stanaevicz doubled and singled while Brandon Lane had two singles and an RBI.

Aaron Cyr hit a two-run homer and Josh Studer a solo shot for Millinocket.

At Hermon, Tyler Fournier hit two singles and a double to drive in two runs and help Hermon to the win.

Nick Moore doubled twice to drive in two runs for Hermon and Dean Watson also had two doubles and an RBI.

Ricky Snow hit an RBI single for Hampden. Mike Wagner and Charles Rawcliffe each singled and scored a run.

At Bucksport, Billy Deredin tripled, doubled, and singled to drive in three runs and help Bucksport to victory.

Andrew Giosa tripled and singled with three RBIs for Bucksport. Bailey Blair had two doubles and three RBIs and Tyler McAllian tripled with two RBIs.

Deredin allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out 10.

Nick Pineo hit an RBI double for Machias and Jesse Wood added an RBI single.
