HOLDEN – Jacob Chapman scored from second with two outs in the bottom of the sixth on an Adam Cossette single to give Holbrook a 7-6 victory over Bangor East for the District 3 age 11 baseball title Tuesday.

Chapman had a double and two singles and scored three runs for Holbrook. Cossette hit three singles to drive in two runs and Max Andrews tripled and singled with an RBI. Keith Nelson allowed just one hit and struck out six in 2 2/3 innings of relief.

Bryan Rouleau doubled and singled and scored twice for Bangor East. Larry Roberts hit a two-run double and Nicholas Graham added an RBI single.

Coastal 4, Sunrise 3

At Blue Hill, Peter Dickenson scored the winning run in the fourth inning on a Nick Saunders groundout as Coastal prevailed.

Saunders hit a single and drove in two runs for Coastal. Casey Hull and Ross Bowden each singled and scored a run.

Sam Stewart doubled and singled and scored for Sunrise and Blake Chase added an RBI single.

At Northeast Harbor, lefthander Jasper Cousins spun a masterful complete-game six-hitter with nine strikeouts and just one walk to lead Acadian to victory.

Calvin Tweedie had a double, single and knocked in a pair of runs for the winners.

Marshall Harriman singled for Bucksport. Dylan Dedman struck out six and walked one in six innings of work.

At Hampden, Cameron Archer hit a double and four singles and knocked in a run to lead Old Town past Orrington.

Patrick Quimby singled twice and scored three runs for Old Town and Trevor Francis doubled with an RBI. Gabe Melmed had 11 strikeouts.

Kurt Massey had two singles and an RBI for Orrington. Evan Pelkey tripled to drive in a run and Ryan Gagne had an RBI double.

At Hermon, Jacques Larochelle hit a two-run homer in the first inning and an RBI single to lead Bangor West to the win.

Jack Stacey had two singles and an RBI for Bangor West. Brandon Lane singled twice and Phil Frost doubled.

Cody Veilleux hit an RBI single in the third inning for Hermon and Kevin Frederick had an RBI.

At Hampden, Justin Courtney had 11 strikeouts in a complete-game effort for Bangor East in the win.

Matt Morrow hit a pair of singles for Brewer.

At Hampden, Galen Perry drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Bangor West to victory by eliminating Glenburn.

Bobby Winchell singled twice for Bangor West and Jackson Koch doubled. Hunter Boyce and Tyler Kenny combined to strike out nine.

Brandon Ross hit two singles for Glenburn. Alex Campbell doubled to drive in a run and Cody Caruso doubled and had 11 strikeouts.

William Perkins laced a three-run homer in the third for Hermon while Tyler Thayer notched three singles and an RBI.

At Ellsworth, Heather Holt stroked a two-run single and an RBI double as Ellsworth eliminated Machias.

Jessica Toothaker notched an RBI singe and RBI double for Ellsworth and Chelesa Beal hit three singles and drove in a run.

Chelsea Oakes sparked Machias with three singles and two RBIs while Abby McCurdy doubled and singled twice.
