Egg-stravaganza
Calling all chefs – and home cooks. Organizers of the Central Maine Egg Festival are looking for pros and amateurs to enter a recipe in the 18th annual cheesecake and quiche contest. Don’t feel like cooking? Go to the $6 all-you-can eat cheesecake, quiche and salad buffet. The event will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Millennium Event Center in Palmyra. All ages are encouraged to enter. Awards will be given for flavor and healthfulness, and the prizes range from a $25 gift certificate to $100 in cash.
