Holden police issued summonses to two men Sunday evening after stopping a vehicle in a parking lot that was determined to be the same vehicle several witnesses reported traveling erratically on Route 1A.
The driver, Jedidiah Rambo, 20, of Bangor, was charged with operating under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rambo had a prior OUI conviction and was not supposed to be consuming alcohol, Holden police Officer Chris Greeley said late Sunday.
A passenger, Robert Fillion, 23, also of Bangor, was charged with possession of marijuana.
Greeley and Officer Stefin Brown approached the car shortly after 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Sinclair’s General Store. The occupants reportedly were returning from a party near Green Lake, Greeley said.
Rambo’s blood alcohol level was only 0.05, which is below the legal limit, but the officer said other evidence led him to believe that Rambo was impaired.
Among the witnesses who reported the vehicle traveling recklessly was an off-duty police officer, Greeley said.

A Bangor man was arrested late Friday after he reportedly punched his girlfriend – who was six months pregnant with his child – in the shoulder.
Brian Boushee, 44, was charged with domestic assault after he struck his live-in girlfriend, apparently because she was on the phone with another man, according to a police report.
Bangor police officers Chad Foley and Lewis Woolley responded at about 10:15 p.m. to a call of a domestic dispute at a Center Street apartment. Boushee was leaving as police arrived, but Foley told the man to stop, the report stated.
The man said he argued with his girlfriend but said it never got physical, according to the report.
