Selectmen gave the authority last week for Town Manager Jane Jones to buy a used road grader to help improve local gravel roads. They also authorized the continuing negotiations for the purchase of a 1983 ladder truck now being leased to Rockland until that town receives its new vehicle. This piece of equipment would replace the town’s aging 1952 Maxim aerial truck.
