I recently wrote a letter to the AARP in support of their campaign to basically leave Social Security alone and not to put at risk people’s savings by subjecting it to the whims of Wall Street.
As a member of the AARP, I had at least expected a response acknowledging the letter. There was none.
I agree fully with Sean Boley’s letter in the Bangor Daily News of July 14.
This business of Congress keeping the Social Security system broke solely to serve congressional business is absolutely criminal and must be stopped.
